Small Steps Equal Big Change – Orca Footprints contest

Every Last Drop

The Orca Footprints series of nonfiction titles for young readers continue to make their mark. With five titles now available on topics such as sustainable energy, clean water, food production, housing and bicycling, these books are helping young global citizens learn about the world and make small steps for big changes. There are so many kids out there making a positive impact on the environment…and that’s where your students come in!

Small Steps Equal Big Change

Has your school made a green change you are proud to share? Maybe you’ve reduced waste, started a new eco-friendly policy, or fundraised in the name of environmental activism. One small act can inspire many others!

Send us a photo and a description of the small step your school has made toward big changes. Bonus points for entries that show young activists (your amazing students) promoting global change on a local level. One lucky winner will get a set of Orca Footprints books mailed to your school.

Email, post or tweet your photo using the hashtag #myorcafootprint. Be sure to tag us @orcabook and include a short description of the change or activity your school implemented. We will share these great ideas online and notify the winner at the end of November!

For more information or to send us a photo entry, email us here.

Contest ends November 30, 2014.
